Meet the Inaugural Cohort

Five Indianapolis organizations are running with us through Impact Studio’s first 12-week cycle — each working to build a sustainable revenue engine inside a mission they already prove every day.

STEP 1: Identify the Business Model

Organizations succeed when they build revenue from what they already do well — not by starting something new. We map existing assets to proven revenue models: service delivery, knowledge products, platform access, or physical infrastructure.

STEP 2: Validate With Real Customers

No business plan survives contact with actual customers. We run structured customer discovery interviews, capability assessments, and financial modeling. Three questions must be answered: Do people want this? Can we deliver it? Do the numbers work?

STEP 3: Lock Mission to Revenue

The critical test: Can the organization ONLY make money by serving the community it exists to serve? When revenue is mission-locked, every dollar earned deepens community service. We build until the model passes this test.
